Pumpkin Village at the Dallas Arboretum
Thru November 3
Gather the family for a visit to the biggest pumpkin patch in North Texas. See more than 100,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash at the Dallas Arboretum’s nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village.
This year’s theme is “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown™” where they feature creative displays and themed pumpkin houses based on the 1966 classic. You will find endless opportunities for selfies and family photos with the Peanuts Gang, including Snoopy, Woodstock, Pigpen, Linus, Lucy, Franklin, Peppermint Patty, and Marcie.

Boo at the Zoo
October 25-27

Fort Worth Zoo
Bring the kids to Boo at the Zoo is the Fort Worth Zoo’s family-friendly and enjoy trick-or-treating, themed entertainment, animal shows, and more. You can Trick-or-treat at special treat stations throughout the Zoo.
Know Before You Go: All adult and child costumes must be appropriate for all ages. For your safety, everyone ages 13 and older must leave their faces clearly visible and identifiable at all times – adults (age 13+) in heavy makeup or full-faced costume masks will not be allowed into the Zoo.
This festive daytime event is free with Zoo admission or membership and packed with fun for the whole family.
Thrills by Day at Six Flags Over Texas FrightFest

Fright Fest. From taking a ride on your favorite coaster to a visit to Looney Tunes SPOOKY TOWN, there are plenty of activities for the whole family. Fright By Night: Fright Fest offers a wide array of places to get your scare on, including several haunted houses and scare zones located throughout the park. The stuff of nightmares lurks around every corner of the park as the dark of night washes over the park. The ghouls are set free for their daily hunting rituals. BEWARE! There is no place to hide!
