This Summer in Dallas-Fort Worth is better than ever. With live music events, like Free Friday nights at the park, big amphitheater shows, or stadium events, not to mention BTS, there is music for everyone this year. 

Here is what are some of the best music events happening this summer.

KXT Summer Concert Series

This series turns Fridays into the place to be for music fans. The concerts start at 7 p.m. 

The 2026 lineup features a strong local and indie roster:
Friday, June 23: La Bell
Friday, June 28 – Sundown at Granada featuring Secrecies and DAMOYEE
Friday, July 7: Jacob Metcalf
July 15: Tori Amos: In Times of Dragons Tour, Winspear Opera House
July 17: ‘Til Midnight at the Nasher ft. Cash Byers & Hayden Pedigo, Nasher Sculpture Center 
July 23: The Black Keys, The Bomb Factory, Dallas
Friday, July 26 – Lexus Box Garden at Legacy Hall featuring Ella Red and Phantomelo
Friday, July 28: J. Isaiah Evans & The Boss Tweed
August 5: Howard Jones; Modern English, Texas Trust CU Theatre, Grand Prairie
August 21: ‘Til Midnight at the Nasher ft. Dana Harper & Cosmic Collective, Nasher Sculpture Center
August 22: Santana and The Doobie Brothers, American Airlines Center
August 28/29: Charley Crockett, Billy Bob’s, Fort Worth
August 30: Jack Johnson, Dos Equis Pavilion, Dallas
September 5: Brandi Carlile, Dickies Arena, Fort Worth

The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving

Located at 300 W. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving, The Pavilion is an indoor-outdoor amphitheater that converts to an open-air 8,000-seat venue. It is the busiest summer stage in DFW, and the nearby Las Colinas dining scene makes for an effortless full evening.

June 17 — Khalid: It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour
7:30 PM | with Lauv
This is Khalid’s first headlining tour since 2019’s Free Spirit World Tour, and it has been one of the most anticipated returns of the summer. Tickets from $50. (Ticketmaster)

July 3 — Outlaw Music Festival
2:05 PM | Willie Nelson & Family, Wilco, Sheryl Crow, Lukas Nelson, Margo Price,
Stephen Wilson Jr., Lily Meola
The tour kicks off in Irving, Texas, with Willie Nelson & Family headlining a powerhouse lineup of iconic voices and next-generation trailblazers. Nelson is making fewer road appearances this year.

A Fourth of July weekend afternoon with Willie Nelson in Texas is about as good as it gets. Tickets from $95. (outlawmusicfestival.com)

July 26 — Sarah McLachlan: Better Broken Tour
7:30 PM | with Allison Russell
A summer Sunday evening with Sarah McLachlan and Allison Russell at an outdoor amphitheater is a genuinely lovely way to end a weekend. Tickets available at Ticketmaster.

Globe Life Field in Arlington

July 30 — Noah Kahan: The Great Divide Tour
6:30 PM | with Gigi Perez and Annabelle Dinda
The Great Divide Tour makes 23 stops at stadiums across North America, including Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 30, with Gigi Perez set to join as support. Globe Life Field’s retractable roof will be closed for the concert, so you get the stadium atmosphere without the August heat. (Live Nation)

AT&T Stadium in Arlington

August 15 & 16 — BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’
8:00 PM both nights
BTS, the global sensation comes to the DFW area with their biggest tour ever! The popular K-pop group will perform for ARMY fans for two nights at the AT&T Stadium.

This will be THE event of the summer!
