Spring in Dallas has a start date. It's February 21 is when Dallas Blooms, presented by Amegy Bank, opens at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, and it runs through April 12, 2026. More than 500,000 blooming bulbs planted across the Arboretum's 66-acre property along White Rock Lake make this one of the most visually striking seasonal events in the country. Southern Living named it one of the best places to see spring blooms. Newsweek ranked the Dallas Arboretum among the top gardens in the nation for cherry blossoms. For DFW residents and visitors, this is an event worth visiting more than once. New blooms emerge each week, so the garden looks different in late February than it does in late March.
